About Our Development Process

In working with you are a huge part of the process.

The following outlines the process we follow to get you on the web in the fastest possible time and at the lowest possible price.

Site Review -- Project Sponsor and Project Manager meet to discuss the proposed project and the Project Sponsor delivers the "Goals and Strategies Worksheet."

Estimate -- Project Manager provides Sponsor with a Project Charter, a in depth document detailing the project. All details to be finalized prior to approval.

Approval -- Project Sponsor agrees to the terms of the Project Charter and offers a 50% down payment.

Content Development -- Site Editor, Project Manager, and Project Sponsor work together to secure and develop site content. This work culminates in the production of meta tags, search engine friendly content, titles, and headings, and the wire frame below.

Media Preparation -- Concurrent with Content Development, the Art Director works with the Project Sponsor to secure media and graphics for the site and the Art Director optimizes them for various web applications. Art Director offers mock-up(s) for Sponsor's approval.

Wire Frame -- The Site Editor develops the content structure following usability standards.

Design -- Art Director works with Web Developer/Designer to produce the final XHTML/CSS Layout, and Web Developer integrates it with the required web technologies.

Beta Testing -- Project Sponsor, Project Manager, and Site Editor test the site and make change requests. Art Director and Web Developer make necessary changes.

Approval -- Project Sponsor approves project, meets with Project Manager for training and finalization. Sponsor pay any reaming balance.

Final Launch -- Web Developer produces .htaccess, robots.txt, xml sitemap, and submit the site/sitemap to the major search engines.

Interns will gain a wealth of knowledge and experience, getting their hands deep into the mix!

Theses internships are limited to 1 semester and no more than 10 hours/week.... We understand that the intern is a student first, and we place a high premium on our efficient and effective use of the intern's time.

Each intern will, by the end of the semester, serve as the lead on at least one small to medium size project, and will be tagged as the designer/developer of the site.

We value our interns highly, and offer opportunities for them to earn as they learn!
